BLT Companies has grown in the years dramatically to become the largest Ready Mix Concrete, Aggregates and Asphalt supplier in the Yuma area. As a material supplier, whether for concrete, asphalt or aggregates, BLT strives to exceed and nearly always attains the every increasing specifications as mandated by local, federal and state authorities. To the best of our ability, we produce the highest quality material for use in concrete and asphalt production. Once in the hands of the contractor, we are confident our products will surpass any test of quality over the years.

Our facilities are strategically placed to most efficiently and effectively serve commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential contractors within the greater Yuma area. Located on Highway 95, only 7 miles south of Yuma Proving Ground's main gate and 13 miles north of Yuma, sits the Asphalt Plant, the Crushing & Screening Plant as well as the north site Concrete Plant No. 3. The Asphalt Plant consists of a CMI 400-ton per hour continuous mix plant with three 200-ton overhead storage silos and a double scale load out system. This plant is certified by Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and Arizona Department of Weights and Measures. The aggregate material produced for the asphalt and concrete is approved by ADOT Standard Specifications as it has completed the Environmental Analysis process under the environmental specifications.

The crushing operation is the heart of it all. The quality of our material and procedures for crushing and washing are of the highest standards. We have an in-house testing facility that does daily gradations, sand equivalent, durability, and oil burn-offs in order to remain in spec with all government agencies. We also use an independent ACI and ADOT certified test lab to do monthly testing. Courtney Arviso, of Geotechnical Services Inc., (GTS) is our licensed PE Engineer. GTS is a locally owned and operated engineering firm and has made all of our mix designs for asphalt and concrete.

The Main Office and Central Concrete Plant No. 1 is located right off Interstate 8 and Gila Ridge Road. This main site is home to the fleet of 30 mixer trucks, as well as the Concrete Pump Trucks, Cranes and Transport trucks. Just 30 miles east of Interstate 8 is the location of our Concrete Plant No. 2, located off Avenue 31E in Wellton, Arizona. Plant No. 4, South County, is located at Avenue B & County 19th Street to service all of San Luis, Somerton, Gadsden and west end of Yuma. The four concrete plants are certified by the National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA) and ADOT. The fleet of mixers are all NRMCA certified.

BLT Companies is also committed to providing great crane and rigging service, always insuring that we have the latest equipment and properly trained personnel dedicated to customer satisfaction. We continually upgrade our rental fleet in order to supply our customers with the latest equipment technology available in the industry. Our personnel are trained through the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). This extensive training enables our operators to perform challenging picks with a confident and steady hand. Operating truck mounted cranes, ranging from 23 Tons to 210 Tons, our operators have picked and set a variety of equipment from the standard AC unit to NASA Aerospace Pods, and power plant turbines to movie filming equipment.
