Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Concrete Dispatcher to manage daily concrete orders using the Command Alkon dispatch system. This role is critical to ensuring timely and accurate delivery of concrete to job sites and maintaining strong communication with customers and drivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and take concrete orders from customers.
  • Accurately enter orders into the Command Alkon dispatch system.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries with drivers and plant personnel.
  • Monitor truck locations and adjust schedules as needed for efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding order status, delivery times, and any changes.
  • Maintain detailed records of orders, delivery tickets, and customer interactions.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and quality control teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Start early mornings to support daily operations and meet customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Command Alkon or similar dispatch software preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Customer service experience, preferably in construction or logistics.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry accuracy.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Tire Maintenance Technician – Fleet Services

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tire Maintenance Technician to join our Fleet Services team. This role is responsible for maintaining and servicing tires on a variety of heavy equipment and vehicles, including concrete mixers, dump trucks, cranes, and other construction machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and replace tires on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Monitor tire pressure, tread depth, and overall condition.
  • Perform tire rotations, balancing, and alignments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of tire maintenance and inventory.
  • Operate tire-changing and balancing equipment safely.
  • Respond to on-site tire service calls when necessary.
  • Collaborate with mechanics and supervisors to ensure fleet readiness.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.

Performance Standards

  • Reliable attendance and safety-conscious work habits.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Requirements

  • Experience with tire maintenance on heavy equipment preferred.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 60 feet.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.
  • Must be able to read and understand instructions in English; Spanish-speaking is a plus.
  • Must submit a current MVR for CDL consideration.

Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, High Visibility Apparel, Fall Protection, Gloves, Welding Gear, Hearing Protection, Respiratory Protection, Safety Shoes, and Heat Resistant Apparel.
