Ready Mix
BLT Companies' Ready Mix concrete production facilities are certified by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association. The plants operate with fully automated Command Alkon central dispatched with a combined continuous production capability of 800 cubic yards per hour.
BLT Companies operates a Bibko Concrete Recycling System at the Gila Ridge plant. This system allows for the process of regenerating ready mix concrete. Previously, when too much concrete was ordered for a job site, the excess product was dumped in landfills or areas designated for wasted concrete which is not only an eyesore for the community but is an environmental nightmare for generations to come. We are excited to have the only concrete reclaimer system in the desert southwest. This BIBKO Concrete Reclaimer cycles through the unused wet concrete and returns it to its original state, which is recirculated through the concrete batch plant to produce ready mix concrete once again. The process involves the wet concrete being washed and separated, where all the aggregate goes to one area and the cement water, also known as grey water, is funneled to underground holding tanks. The specific gravity is monitored and adjusted throughout the process so it can be introduced back into the new mix. Approximately 20 to 40 cubic yards of concrete is reclaimed daily, depending on the overall daily production. The following day, approximately 3 to 8 % of reclaimed material is mixed in with new concrete. This concrete reclaimer enables us to utilize 100% of the waste by producing it into a finished product once again.

WARNINGS
EXCLUSIONS OF WARRANTIES: Except as expressly described on the face of the ticket, the parties agree that the implied warranties of MERCHANTABILITY and FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE and all other warranties, express or implied, are EXCLUDED from this transaction and shall not apply to the goods sold.
- Purchaser acknowledges that under certain conditions, the aggregate used in producing the concrete can be alkali reactive. This reaction can have a detrimental effect on the concrete. Purchaser accepts responsibility for the results of any such reaction.
- Concrete is a perishable commodity and becomes the property of the purchaser upon leaving the plant. Any changes or cancellation of original instructions must be telephoned to the office before loading starts. Maximum free unloading time is 6 minutes per yard.
- Freshly mixed cement, mortar, grout, concrete or asphaltic concrete materials may cause skin irritation. Asphaltic concrete material may release Toxic Hydrogen Sulfide Gas. Avoid contact when possible and wash exposed skin promptly.
- Not responsible for any damage on delivery inside curb line. No claim allowed unless made at time of material is delivered.
